National Parenting Education Day!


Join NPEN in celebrating National Parenting Education Day on April 3, 2026!

Celebrated on the first Friday in April, this day raises awareness about the transformative power of parenting education. It highlights research-based resources and support that empower parents, foster healthy family environments, and strengthen communities, helping to de-stigmatize seeking assistance. The day also serves as a platform to honor the caring, skilled and  credentialed professionals who respect parents’ rights to create their unique family culture.

In celebration of National Parenting Education Day, The Parenting Collaborative of Philadelphia, PA will host a special event to recognize the work of our parent educators, and to support and empower the parents we serve!  We will use this as an opportunity to highlight and celebrate the impact of parent educators on the families throughout our community.  Our event will also feature parent/caregiver resources to help navigate the challenges of parenting and strengthen family relationships, children’s story time with a community librarian, resources to prepare families for kindergarten registration, snacks and more!
