Carol Nass, M.A.

Parenting Educator, Easton, PA

Carol received her B.A. in Fine Arts (Art Psychology/Art Education 1980) and M.A. in Art Therapy/Art Education (1983) then went on to teaching grade levels from pre-K through college. She received her certifications in the Archdiocese of New York ‘s Parenting Program (Good Beginnings) as well as EPIC (Effective Parenting in Children) and assisted in establishing parenting centers, leading workshops and traveling as a guest lecturer. Carol facilitated F.O.C.C.U.S. (Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding and Study) sessions for 20 years and was a member of the Youth Advisory Board at her parish.

Since 2006 she has been conducting a wide range of programs in settings including a social service agency, a women’s recovery center and the YMCA. Curriculums taught include: Nurturing Parenting, 24/7 Dad, Active Parenting and S.T.E.P. classes. Most recently she received her certification from Positive Discipline.

Her greatest joy has been working alongside her husband to build their own beautiful family. She thanks God for blessing them first with their son then 6 years later with their daughter. The blessings have continued with the addition of their daughter-in-law, 4 grandchildren and their daughters’ fiancé.

As long as Carol can remember she has been passionate about the sacred space we can create for all families to grow in. Tapping into her past as an artist she thinks of our role as parents as “painting memories on our children’s hearts”.
