YoLanda Sanders, M.S., CFLE

YoLanda Sanders is a fully Certified Family Life Educator, Family Sciences Adjunct Faculty, and functions as a Parenting Reading Educator. She obtained childcare training certification in early childhood education in parenting family life education. YoLanda has worked in the public schools as a teaching assistant, and interned at University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service Best Care Connected program. YoLanda served as a Head Start Pre-K Reading Reading Readiness Youth Programs Coordinator, and facilitator of the Pre-K Headstart Book Donation Drive where she trained undergraduate college students youth mentors to volunteer in the community and donate books for underserved children.

A member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, YoLanda is very active in community leadership service as a Regional Legacy Club member, and Scholarship Committee member that awards aspiring high school students with college scholarships. She stays involved with parents and daughters in youth activities. YoLanda served in a national volunteer community service and received the National Presidential Service Achievement Volunteer Service Award. YoLanda is a member of the following organizations: National Council on Family Relations, National Society of Leadership and Success Honor Society, Family Life Coaching Association, National Parenting Education Network, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, and NSLS Learning Guild.
